Dandruff after menopause

Woman who are going through menopause and suffer with dandruff may be wondering if there is a connection between dandruff and menopause. We did a little research to see if we could find any evidence that would suggest and increase in dandruff after menopause among women. What we found was some evidence pointing to signs of hair loss which occured in some women once they went through menopause and their period had ended. The articles which we read seem to point to an increase in slight pattern baldness in some women after menopause. We also found one or two people selling products, and they suggested that there was a connection between menopause and dandruff... we found this to be very sketchy, if you know what I mean. There was no research that we could see which came to a conclusion which would suggest that dandruff after menopause would increase in women. We would suggest that you consult your physiciain if you have recently gone through menopause and are seeing an increase in dandruff.

Dandruff is very common. Most people who suffer with dandruff do not realise that it is a natural process, it can not be eliminated. The annoying dandruff disease is sometimes the symptom of seborrheic dermatitis.
